AUTO BARN guarantees its transmissions assembly for a period of 12 months/unlimited miles, whichever occurs first, under normal operating conditions, against defects in material and factory workmanship providing the proper installation methods are followed. All commerical and 4x4 application transmissions will only carry a 90 day warranty. All vehicals over 3/4 ton is considered a commerical application.
This warranty is limited to the replacement of a transission and converter which fails during the warranty period. All claims will be disallowed if unit has been altered or tampered with prior to inspection. All alleged defective units will be issued a claim number and must be returned to the auto barn.
Under no circumstances will AUTO BARN accpt any charges for repairs on an alleged defective unit, and under NO circumstances will we be liable for LABOR, oil, towing or time lost while the unit is out of operation. THIS WARRANTY IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE UNIT UPON OUR INSPECTION.
The guarantee is extended only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES. EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF.
WARRANTY WILL BE VOID UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS.
1. Proper installation porcedures are not followed.
2. Neglect or abuse.
3. Unit is used for racing applications.
4. Cooling lines are not flushed prior to installation.
5. Gears are broken(Standard units only).
6. Lack of lubrication.
7. Improper lubricant or unapproved additives are used.
All warranty claims are subject to inspection at assembly plant before being considered valid for warranty credit or labor claims.
Warranty consists of repair or replacement of the unit, or the replacement of parts.
All units will be shipped with a warranty information card, a can of pressurized cooler line flush and instruction for properly flushing the cooler lines.
